Geçmişte başlayıp hala devam eden eylemlerin anlatımında kullanılır.

Olumlu Cümle: I (we, you, they) have been going to school.
He (she, it) has been going to school.

Olumsuz Cümle: I (we, you, they) haven't been going to school.
He (she, it) hasn't been going to school.

Soru Cümlesi: Have I (we, you, they) been going to school?
Has he (she, it) been going to school?

Örnekler:

1. I have been living here for five years. (Burada beş yıldır yaşıyorum.)
